Both Andrea and Amy were fantastic. I couldn’t fault either of them; they went above and beyond in all aspects. The room was set up exactly how I wanted it. Everything just ran so smoothly and the food was beautiful. Nothing was a problem from when I booked my wedding to we left the day after, everyone was very helpful. To be honest on the lead up to my wedding the only thing I wanted was extra bar staff and the girls pulled it out of the bag again there was enough bar staff to look after the whole wedding and we weren’t waiting long on a drink.

Package options – we went with the deluxe package with a few added extras which included everything we wanted, but the build your own package was also very attractive for us. Ease of payment instalments over the planning period was also fantastic
Service on the day – it was second to none, we had a big wedding of 247 people and it ran so smoothly, The coordinators, bar staff and wait staff were so professional

We are just home from Honeymoon and don’t want any more time to pass before we pass on our sincerest thanks and appreciation to you all for making our Wedding Day so amazing. The organisation of the event, the night before and the Wedding itself were all seamless and perfect, all of which is due to your amazing team. We want to especially thank you, Andrea, for being with us throughout, which required a lot of handholding as well as Karen. We also have to give special thanks to Fiona and Mery who were tremendous over the three days. We made the perfect choice in our venue. All of the guests have been raving about the staff and the food. Both were flawless. Organising any event like this can be stressful but you collectively made it so easy for us and were key to making it the best day of our lives.
We will be recommending the Ballymac to everyone who is thinking about getting married and we will be back to stay with you. We have so many happy memories there.

The service was impeccable. The meal was absolutely delicious. The tray in the honeymoon suite was a lovely touch. Wouldn’t have tasted our cake otherwise ha.
We loved every second of the day and couldn’t fault one thing. Bar had plenty of staff. Room was turned over quickly. Prosecco on arrival was delicious!

“We want to say a HUGE thank you to all staff at Ballymascanlon! We had the most amazing day and night ever on the 7th August for our wedding. The staff couldn’t be helpful enough and helped us through all the madness of planning a wedding during Covid time! They put us completely at ease and were sooo brilliant with calming our nerves in the run up, especially Karen, who kept a very stressed and nervous bride calm! 😊 On the day we honestly didn’t need to worry or do anything as the team at Ballymascanlon looked after everything for us! We also decided to DIY our décor and left it up to the hotel 2 days before and they made the room look stunning! 😊 All in all, sooo thankful for the team and also the amazing grounds of the hotel where we got some stunning photographs!”

“My husband and myself were due to get married in sept 2020,but Covid had different plans. With stressing out and changing dates a number of times we were glad to have Karen by our sides through it and nothing at all was a problem. From the moment we booked our wedding in 2018 until we finally got married in October 2021 karen was more than helpful and we were so lucky to be dealing with her. From the moment we arrived to the hotel on the day of our wedding, all of the staff done amazing work and more, we truly felt like a king and queen. From the venue set up, to the staff, the food, its beautiful gardens were we got some amazing photos done & the hotel itself they did not disappoint.

Karen was great at making us feel at ease on the run up to the wedding and staff couldn’t have done enough for us on the day. Our guests were equally satisfied as we had endless comments about the fantastic staff, service and food. The hotel also has picturesque grounds and we got loads of fabulous photos.
